About The Role
Faunora Conservation Initiative (FCI) is seeking a passionate and creative Communications Officer to support our conservation and community engagement programs.
The ideal candidate will help us tell impactful stories, manage digital platforms, and engage youth and women in environmental action across Uganda and Africa.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and publish articles, press releases, and social media content.
- Manage website updates and online campaigns.
- Coordinate media outreach and event promotion.
- Support fundraising and donor communication materials.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong writing and social media skills.
- Photography or video editing skills are an added advantage.
- Passion for conservation, youth empowerment, and community development.
